West of Here - My Favorite Movies Journal

Wow! I really loved the movie West of Here. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Kevin Cooney deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Tate Donovan was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Kevin Cooney and Tate Donovan worked wonderful in West of Here. The great supporting cast includes Kevin Cooney, Tate Donovan, Carlin Glynn, Josh Hamilton, Mary Stuart Masterson.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Summary of West of Here:
Finding his only escape in music, Gil Blackwell (Broken English's Josh Hamilton) decides to leave his monotonous business life in Boston when his cousin dies in a car accident. Gil ignores his father's disapproval and takes the family's antique truck for the promised land of California, but on the way a chance encounter reunites him with an old college flame, Genevieve (Fried Green Tomatoes' Mary Stuart Masterson), who joins his journey. With each westward mile, the couple rebuilds their musical aspirations and their feelings for each other in this touching and heartfelt love story.
